About Ethel

Ethel Mingle Mahon, founder of Workroom Professionals, has been involved in the window covering industry since 1981.

Having started the business out of her home 21 years ago,
today Ethel and her husband Harold, a Florida-State certified
building contractor, now occupy a 6000 SF workroom providing
services to national fabric chains, furniture stores, builders and
interior designers statewide.



Ethel is WFCP and CWP certified, a member of WCAA,
The Allied Board of Trade, ASID and ERDN, the Education,
Design, Resource Network association.
Ethel is on the board of the
WCAA and works with the Education Committee. In addition
to her success in the window covering industry,
Ethel is the author and publisher of
The Designers Workroom Companion,
a guide book developed to assist designers in measuring
and calculating yardage requirements for workroom orders. Illustrated with pictures and charts for pricing and
calculations, this handy tool is fast becoming an important
aide to many in the design industry.
She is also the author of
The Encyclopedia of Fabrications,
her newest book, presently being used in the
WCAA Workroom Certification Program.
